As far as I remember Tufu taste like a nothing really.. Until you mix it with something else it really has little taste at all.. It's like having paper mache in your mouth with no taste..:yuk

I'm Chinese, I love tofu. I usually put spicy sauce on it. My mom makes different versions of it

Tofu has no taste...it takes on the flavor of whatever you mix it with. I have only had it fried w/ some kind of thai sweet sauce and mixed into my soup, but I love it!!!

it only has taste if you cook it the right way with the right ingredients. also, my mom fries them and makes them into '******s' sometimes

It's great! Don't try to westernize it, though. Of course tofuburgers will suck. So does raw chitterling salad.

We pan fry slices then top them with grated fresh ginger and green onion, then a splash of soy sauce. YUM!!

The firm tofu is also great sir-fried with veggies and spam.

I had it in several variations when I went through my 6 month long "Super PETA Vegetarian Crazy Activist Bitch" phase in 7th grade. The only bearable way was chicken nugget tofu drenched in ranch.
