and I most certainly thInk It will keep burglarIes minimal.
how dare anyone enter your home uninvited,
that's why with thIs new law I am delighted.
a deterrent and the right decIsIon,
Hal-a-you-ya thIs Is the right vIsIon.

If you break into someone's house uninvited you shouldn't have any rights as to legal action against the person whose house you broke into if you suffer any injury.

I haven't heard of this new law, could you enlighten me?

Castle doctrine law here in the United States. States may have various interpretations and "strength" of law.

Personally, I don't think you should kill someone just for being in your home uninvited. Ultimately, anytime a civilian uses deadly force, chances are that person is going to have a long and potentially expensive process to deal with.

Added the fact that it is easier to maintain a defensive position rather than an offensive one. If there is a threat in your home, your chances of survival increase by having the threat come to you, instead of you going to the threat. Everyone should have a "plan" for unwanted guests in their home.

In my opinion, you shouldn't attack anyone just because they're on your property. Who knows, they may be trying to ask you for help or something.

On the other hand, if someone goes on your property with the intent of doing harm, and you feel endangered, then you should do whatever it takes to protect yourself.

I'm not saying this through some vain materialistic viewpoint either. To me, it's not so much about protecting your stuff, but rather yourself. You don't know what an intruder is going to do, and a home intrusion can quickly become violent when the intruder realizes you're still home.
