I sat down with my black laptop and noticed this pale, tiny yellow bug. When I mean tiny, I MEAN tiny. It was like a dot. Not even 1mm, it was very small. Small enough to miss and never notice. But since it was on the black plastic of my computer, I could see it. It was moving fast for its size, I watched it walk a few cm then I pressed on it to pick it up but couldn't take a good enough look (its so small it just fell).

I was concerned about bed bugs as I had my laptop on my bed yesterday, but after looking into it, it doesn't seem to match the description, and there is no evidence of bed bugs in the house (none ever seen, no bite marks ever). Furthermore, I play games on my laptop regularly, and it gets very hot inside (without a cooling pad it ends up reaching 90 degrees and shutting itself down when gaming) so I don't believe it was possible to harbor anything.

Prior to the bug appearing I had put the laptop on top of our 80 year old piano that we bought, its very dusty inside. I went to go and look at the piano but couldn't see any more of these.

What could it be? Is it perhaps a tiny aphid or something that just snuck inside? Our piano is by the front door.

No idea what it is. These things happen :)

I do have a bug inside my laptop screen. Much to my dismay, it got in there during the summer and apparently died in there. So now I have a tiny black dot halfway up my screen, that just never goes away and never moves.

Can't you clean it?

If it doesn't budge, its likely a dodgy lcd screen, but I wouldn't replace it on just one speck

A small yellow moving object across the "plastic of the laptop" you think is a dodgy lcd screen?

Don't quit your day job tuff, whatever that is :p :D
