Is this really what has happened in the US as such in the House by filibustering?

If so are the people not getting royally screwed ( pardon my expression ) by their own elected officials that should be working for them and not in their self interest?

If so do you believe this will be the norm from now on and that every flip of the parties will do this to whom ever is elected as this would seem to make Government business come to a crawl and impossible for any President and under Political banner?

Just curious as we have seem a similar tactic used in some of our legislative houses where nothing was accomplished and people are not getting fed up.. The concept might seem proactive but becomes a detriment to the party abusing it as it eventually is seen in how the Governing member cannot get any work done.
