Talking to so many people today, all after a day off for Christmas, I came to one conclussion, as nice as the holidays are, I think we should have the Day after Christmas Off, Time to recuperate..

Between all the Cooking, having to get up early, cooking, visiting family or having all the family visiting, It can make for a pretty hectic day no matter how pleasent it was.

And then you have New Years right on your tail before you get a chance to catch up from Christmas.

How hectic was your Christmas, Still feeling the need to ReCuperate??

im exhausted. after a 10hr drive on saturday, TRYING to recuperate on sunday, going all over the damn place on monday to visit other family members, getting woken up by 9 year old brother 4 fucking times monday night so he couldnt look in the living room to see if Santa showed up...at one time i told him i didnt care because i was too tired to look, getting up at 7am to unwrap shit, going to my step-mom's house, then my grandma's house to visit her and my mom as well as unwrap more shit and eat lunch, go to my uncle's house to exchange gifts then go home, collapse and get some sleep. i tell you im exhausted still. but ive had a good time tho :)

I'm in England so we get Boxing day which has already been mentioned which is a national bank holiday.:D Never realised you didn't get that day off work in America.:eek I was chatting to Ali Squidz yesterday in the chat room and asking her why she was working and she replied that she wasn't Canadian. I was like wtf? so I guess that clears that up now! I've no idea why it's called boxing day over here. To my knowledge there's never any decent boxing on on 26 Dec though if there was that would be pretty cool!
