there was a few questions about the waterfalls in the latest competition, well i always say minimal photoshopping meaning light etc,the thought was that both were shopped on a photoshop program.....well to put everyone mind at ease, neither were.......all thats required is a decent fall and a bit of knowhow....i didn't have a clue so i asked guyzer earlier this year,he generously put me on the right lines
to get the effect all you need is a DLSR and a tripod, you simply slow your shutter speed right down until you get the desried effect, its not an exact science so a bit of experimenting needs to be done(with the shutter speed).i say DLSR but no doubt some compacts have the facilty to do this
the tripod is so that with such a slow shutter speed theres no camera shake whatsoever
to be honest, and i might be wrong.....i'm not sure that that effect can be achieved in photoshop
