the weather this year has been horrendous so its a surprise that i've done so well,out of a potential of 9 species i've got 6 so far,with the common darters,ruddy darters and migrant hawkers due to start emerging at any time
southern hawker.....this is the first i've seen this year

broad bodied chaser....always a good find

black tailed skimmer....possibly the easiest subject

four spotted chaser

emperor.....britains largest and this is the only picture of one landed ever taken at brandon marsh

brown hawker.....notorious for never seeming to land,well this one did.....about 6 feet away from me
