This Made It Worth The wait

The P-51 Mustang has and will always be my favorite aircraft. To see one fly and hear the roar of it's engine is something I treasure. This aircraft is called "Val-Halla" and is one gorgeous specimen.

He was probably about 800' up when he did a flyby. I've cropped the shot quite a bit so we can at least see it.

I blew off 14 shots as he was coming in to land. Here's a few of 'em.

About 8 or so years ago I lived in a small town in Manitoba. One came to the local airport and was giving 15 minute rides for $350.00. My wife tried to convince me to go but being the cheap bastard I was I didn't. I regret that decision.

I wanted to be a fighter pilot after Top Gun came out. We women make better pilots too cuz of our water weight. Hey! A benefit!!!!!! I definitely feel the need for speed!:nod:

On my first take off I will be blasting off to the blasting sound of the intro to "Ride my SeeSaw" by the Moody Blues.

Can't see your image. In any event I know what they look like and they are ok. One of the things I like about the P-51 is it looks like it's going fast even when not moving.
