Interesting.

Dosen't having to physically move the backhoe really make it a pain?

Particularly if you already have a tractor that you could possibly attached the backhoe to?

You don't need move it by hand, it moves movements on digging arm and bucket. Of course it is possible attach backhoe to tractor but I think this machine is much more handy tight places where I digging. And tractor needs have different kind cabin, where is space enough turn backwards on digging position, My tractor have no room enough for that.

If that is your tractor in the pic, I can see why.

Looking at the video, am I assuming incorrectly that your not from America?

My neighbor has a 50hp tractor with backhoe, and it usually does the job. Generally, when one buys a 30-50 hp tractor around my parts, they'll just opt for a backhoe attachment if they need one.

What do one of those machines cost if you don't mind me asking?

Interesting...

Yes, I don't live america, I am from Finland/Europe.

yes it is My tractor but actually that cabin are small, there's no chance get good working position, believe Me I also drive much on this tractor with forest crane and it is same problem, You have to be on the knees in tractors seat when You are in backwards and it is not very comfortable... I attach to end link on video where I drive My tractor with forest crane and trailer.
This towable backhoe with three buckets cost about 4200 USD.

Here My tractor and crane video:
