That is bang out of order, there is no way that they can put something like that into place.

For one, they would never catch anyone here in Spain, all IP addresses point to Madrid, Barcelona, and all other big cities main ISP through a registry. They couldn't prosecute anyone as there are too many users on the same IP.

The life sentence would only account for serious violations. The example they used was if, say, a hospital used pirated software instead of paying for it. Life for those who organized it. But that would never happen... The RIAA needs to settle the fuck down, and yes, those of us who like our rights should probably leave. I know I want to. On the upside, they tried to bully a bill like this through last year, and it got shot down almost immediately... its way to early to tell as of now. Load of Bullshit if you ask me.
