Think that new Hellraiser trailer sucks? So does Clive Barker

Clive Barker got a look at the trailer for Hellraiser: Revelations—which purports to be "inspired" by his horror classic—and his NSFW response is more of a classic than this new movie will likely ever turn out to be.
After one of Barker's Twitter followers pointed out that the film appears to show "a total disrespect for your work," the writer responded with an absolutely wonderful mini-rant, in which he states that "If they claim it's from the mind of Clive Barker, it's a lie."

Maybe I'm a complete retard(I never did get a chance to catch the original Hellraiser movies when I was growing up. I rented them one time, but ended up having to return them before I could watch them, since I'd rented like 10 other movies at the same time), but why does this movie supposedly suck? Other than them changing how Hellraiser looks(I can just see the different in the pins, and have read interviews and reports about his new appearance), what exactly is wrong with this one?

Sorry if any of that sounded like I'm supporting this installment and/or being rude, I'm not. Just really curious, since I've never seen the originals.
