If your name really is...Anne Marie Smith Jones Thomas Jefferson Washington Davis Flat-Trap, is it really necessary to use it all and finish with a hyphenated last name as well? That is only slightly exaggerated for effect.

There is a large majority of the population who do not possess "common sense" therefore, it's not exactly common.

I agree about it being ignorant to use a racial slur but it also goes to that everyone is so sensitive.

I had heard Oriental all my life and never considered it duragatory in any way. I was informed I should use Asian instead.
Just seems people look for things to get stirred up over that really are just words.

I hope today is a better day. Yesterday blew chunks all day long. I tried to repair a leaky faucet early and ended up getting a shower from it when it blew. The day just never got better.

Everyone is different but I have trouble understanding someone taking pictures of their child every day and posting them on facebook. Little babies I can somewhat understand for a little while but I have a friend who posts pictures of her son every day and he is 7 or 8 now.
