I accepted your comment about the rear view on the other shots and decided I can do better. So.......... I went to the lake real early yesterday and hung out for quite a while. These aren't full frontal but it the best they would cooperate for me. I would do it again today but it's raining and my gear doesn't like to get wet.

This is the same bird caught with two consecutive shots. Weird how a couple of feet more in distance makes that much difference in the lighting.

You will get there eventually. The second shot is damn good though. Love the way the landing looks like it's water skiing.
