So, I've finally gotten around to watching The X-Files... one of those shows I've meant to watch for years, and now I finally am. One of those times when I'm really glad that I still have Netflix streaming to be honest. I'm loving it so far, and I'm only about 20 episodes into season 1. Something that I find amusing is the fact that my parents watched it for the first season when it originally came out, and then stopped because it got, "too weird" for them. Fast forward to a few years ago when Fringe came out... they love Fringe, and it's far more bizarre than the X-Files has been so far. :24:

That reminds me - I've not seen the second one! I loved the first one though (watched it in between the seasons) - it was a lot better than I was expecting :nod:

Aaaaaaaah!!! The X-Files!!! I loved that show! :willy_nilly: I have all 9 seasons and both movies on DVD. I used to watch it religiously when it was on TV, which was difficult when I was in high school because I wasn't allowed to watch it at home. :ninja I quit watching after Duchovny left, though. The series went down the crapper after that, IMO. One of these days I'll put the DVDs to use and watch the whole series again...maybe after I finish Stargate SG-1.
I dont seem to be able to sit through any TV Show which has more than like 4 seasons? I started watching one of the CSI shows at the start of the year, there were like 10 series? Got to the 4th or 5th and just couldn't stand it no more, I mean they did the same investigations every episode? Sadly I could see X-Files going the same way so I gave it a miss
