I just watched this movie last night, it was actually pretty good. Not all remakes are bad, although it wasn't a "horror movie" per se because it wasn't really all that scary, but the story is very interesting and it's extremely gory. Worth the watch.

Did you see the Jack Nicholson Wolfman movie from years ago? I really did not like it so I wonder how this one compares.

What is interesting is how perceptions have changed over 70 years. The original actually scared people in its day. Today, they giggle. :)

Yeah because they based the new one off of the old one which back then was creepy, and now is just ridiculous looking.

I remember horror graphics really started getting graphic in the 70's. Specifically I'm thinking of the Friday the 13th series. I remember a kid gets his/her (don't remember) throat cut and the cut opens up and blood spews forth. Another kid laying on a cot, got an arrow poked through him, emerging from his chest. These sights were shocking when audiences first saw them. Now we are acclimated to graphic violence. I can't really bring myself to watch the latest, things like Saw and Hostile. But it's arguable these shows are not horror which leaves a lot to your imagination. They are just gross. Then you have the overdone special effects horror movies like "The Haunting" which sucked. The original from the 60's was much better. As far as relatively recent monster movies, I really liked the Blob remake and Alien. Maybe I can think of some others.

Every saw movie excepting the first was complete shit, the latest is the worst. But, people keep buying it so they keep making the bullshit.

Don't think I've seen that. Do you remember The Howling? That one was an excellent movie, scary as hell too.
