Who else is watching this show??? I loved the way it started, w/ the blind auditions. And I love that it doesn't have the age limit that American Idol does (come on, America, do we really put singers out to pasture at 28???). The coaches are great (TEAM ADAM, WOOT WOOT!!!) and so much fun to watch. And the talent, IMO, is way better than what American Idol has been giving us the past few years.

I'm so excited that the live shows have started. Tonight's show was AWESOME w/ some really good performances. There are some obvious problems w/ stage presence for a few people, but I think as they gain fans they will gain confidence (specifically Xenia who seems to blossom when she gets a positive reaction).

So who do you pick to win it??? My money is on Javier. I can't wait to see Team Adam and Team Cee-Lo next week on the live performances!!!

For those of you not familiar, here's the rundown:

The series consists of three phases: a blind audition, a battle phase, and live performance shows. Four judges/coaches, all famous musicians, will choose teams of contestants through a blind audition process. Each judge has the length of the auditioner's performance (about one minute) to decide if he or she wants that singer on his or her team; if two or more judges want the same singer (as happened with all but one singer in the premiere episode), then the singer gets the final choice of coach.
Each team of singers will be mentored and developed by their coach. In the second stage, coaches will have two of their team members battle against each other by singing the same song, with the coach choosing which team member to advance. In the final phase, the remaining contestants will compete against each other in live broadcasts. The television audience will help to decide who moves on. When one team member remains for each coach, the contestants will compete against each other in the finale.

I turned it on cuz Blake is on it.. mmmmm yummy man! anyway..

Blake Shelton IS yummy...but I don't listen to country music. The bromance between him and Adam is cute. Adam was the main reason I tuned in...I love that sexy man!!! I remember where I heard about this show, too...Jersey texted me when we were living together and told me that Adam was going to be a judge on a new show. We were both waiting on the edge of our seats!!! LOL

I will have to watch with full attention next show or PVR it so I can watch it when I am more awake...

You can also catch full episodes on www.nbc.com. It's great b/c I don't have to miss a single episode!!! I think part of the reason, besides the decrease in talent, that I don't care for Idol much anymore is that I have to miss it every other week and they won't put it online!!!
