The Twilight Saga by SM

So, Twilight Saga by Stephenie Meyer, Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn, anybody read them?
I've read them all, plus the first chapter of Midnight Sun and I'm completely psyched for MS even though she's only about half way done.
Comments? Opinions? Lively Banter?

Some people say they don't like it... I LOVED it. Now I just want Midnight Sun to be out after reading the first chapter I just don't want to wait any longer.

I just re-read Twilight (I haven't read it in a few weeks) and, to me, it looks more amature than the other books, so you can really see the progression going in between each. The Host, I think, is probably one of her better books besides Eclipse (and B.D once I get it)

Before the Host came out a read a chapter in it that was posted online and it was good but I haven't gotten the book yet. Is it worth buying?? Well, I bet anything by SM is haha.

Yeah, The Host is REALLY worth buying.

And I just read Breaking Dawn. *screams* Okay, it was alright, but I think there were a few loose ends in there, and that maybe there could've been more action like in Twilight and Eclipse. It WAS a big twist, though.

Give me a synopsis. I never heard of her or those books til the last week or 2. I see posters for Breaking Dawn all over the place now.

Well, basically the series is a vampire/human love story. The boy is a century old, looks 17, and is HANDSOME. The girl is 17-19, clumsy, and a human. They sort of fall for each other, and you learn a completely different view on vampires and otehr mythical creatures. It's a real cool read.

It's the best read ever. I'm basically in love with Edward.
And I think I might just have to go out and buy The Host.

AuronKae have you read the first chapter of Midnight Sun yet??

Yeah, it's awesome. I loved how she was describing Edward's vampire senses. You didn't get a good grip on them until Breaking Dawn. I hope she'll continue with Midnight Sun, all the way to BD.

And the Host is one of SM's more advanced books. She really got the dialog and personalities right and everything.

I used to really love these books. But now I am very close to disliking them. Not because I've grown out of the style or whatever, but because of all the hype! It's a bit much, really, and now that I'm pretty neutral on the subject, the whole thing just seems to be a fangirl's wet dream.

Not trying to cause trouble here, just expressing my opinion.

My girlfriend told me to read one of these and it seemed like there was a 400 page gap in the middle of the book. Nothing happened except at the beginning and the end...

I loved the series so much... I read it twice.

The movie wasn't even close to being as good as the books... no comparison... but I hope they do a better job with the next.
