CYPRESS, Texas (AP) — A student who told police he'd fantasized for years about stabbing people to death was charged Tuesday with carrying out a building-to-building attack at a Texas community college that wounded at least 14 people, many of whom were stabbed in the face and neck, authorities said.

What is it with these people lately?
What next...legislation to take away knives?
Then comes screw drivers.
Glass...just as well remove all the windows.
No tire tool for the car?
Bats?
If someone wants to be a "domestic terrorist"...the ways are endless.

I hate to see this happen it couldnt happen at a worse time...as all of the recent shootings are being pushed for more gun regulation.

Even in the case of this incident as the article finishes they mention a shooting crime which was totally seperate. The beat of the drum for gun control and eventual confiscation is deafening.

I just heard on the radio that the guy had an Xacto knife. I thought it was at least a pocket knife or something. Doesn't an Xacto knife have about a 1 1/2 inch blade??

They have to go after the guns because they are to scared to go after the real problem, which are the gangs that have taken over in most US citys. Not to mention a large percent of the gangs are here illegally from many other countries then just Mexico. :mad

If they were to deal with that first, the crime/drug problem would go down significantly.

A couple of those looked suspiciously like box cutters. Maybe we should have TSA do random traffic stops.

Damn, don't give them any ideas. They are already running over our rights with impunity. I advocate public execution of the perps and banning the media from showing stories about it for more than one day.

Why is it the worse time for this to happen? (not that anytime would be a good time for someone to go around stabbing people). Just goes to show that if someone is intent on doing something, they could do it.

I just don't see how he nailed all those people before someone jumped his butt.

The answer is in the very sentence of mine you posted...{which you quoted}

I stated below

Which has the answer to the very question you ask.;)

The interviews indicated that they thought he was hitting people in the neck, and didn't realize he'd stabbed them until he was gone.

So a guy goes around punching 14 people in the neck and no one follows him or tries to do anything?

Would of actually made good news if someone was carrying and he tried to attack them and they capped his butt. Then again, I'm guessing even in Texas it's illegal to carry on a school campus.

Of course they tried to do something. They tackled him. Sure, 14's about 13 too many, but it's not like he went home & got arrested the next day.
I heard on the radio this morning that they're submitting legislation to allow conceal-carry on campus.

If it would pass anywhere, I'd guess Texas, but somehow I doubt it.

Honestly, I'm not sure where at in the US you would be legal to carry per a State learning institution.
