What the hell is wrong with SCOTUS? Are they in the pockets of Corporations? Indications are yes, they are. This in light of the McCain-Feingold Act specifically written to block big money in elections. If anything, it illustrates how important the affiliation of Presidents and who nominates Supreme Court Justices.

Supreme Court Ends Montana Ban on Corporate Political Spending

In a 5-4 decision, the court summarily overturned a century-old Montana state law that banned corporate political expenditures, saying it conflicted with the 1st Amendment speech rights of corporations affirmed in the Citizens United case.

The ruling, while expected, served to underline the bleak landscape facing proponents of campaign finance regulations just a decade after the landmark McCain-Feingold Act restricted large, unregulated donations in federal elections.

Great quote! :) Corporations are best described as simultaneously the best and worst projection of what humans endeavor to achieve.

Regarding today's expected announcement regarding Obama Care, can anyone tell me what is the difference between the U.S. Government forcing people to save via Social Security and forcing people to participate in health insurance?

I guess the SC could not figure it out either. One is a tax and the other is a forced mandate they call a tax.

They pissed all over the constitution.
