oh boy...another year another year of economic promises, how we are the greatest nation in the free world, how he will get reelected, and world peace....

I'll be in class, I'll listen to NPR's coverage after...um...I predict a politician in an election year will be giving a speech
He'll make an indirect remark about Mitt Romney's revealing tax documents and use it to emphasize the need to tax the wealthiest percent, shared sacrifices, he'll probably talk a lot about the good he feels he's done, and basically tell us if we don't let him continue what he's doing, it will only get worse

I'm not ashamed to say that a part of me kinda hopes for an impact event of sorts during joint sessions of Congress.

Just quoted Lincoln that gov't should only do for people what they can't do for themselves AND NOTHING MORE. He said it with a straight face and didn't choke at all ... Then says that with your help, I can do a whole lot more. WTF??!?

I didn't really think it was that bad. At points, it seemed as though he may have gotten the point of OWS. *shrug*

I give credit to the seals for shooting bin laden (still a bit odd) and yes, any president would take credit for it.....it wasn't really a state of the union address ...it was a fucking campaign speech
