Managed to get a glimpse of them all coming up Whitehall, couldn't get onto the Mall, it was too crowded and half a million people had already packed onto there. Was a great day out and a great party and atmosphere.:thumbup

Who is that targeted at? By one of those you mean "royalist"? Hope you weren't talking about me, I am a British citizen and I've never taken interest to the royal family in the past, but its a historical event that had a lot of world-wide coverage, and something worth chatting about.

Nice to say you were actually there. How long did you stand outside for?

I just got the train down on the day, didn't decide to go till the night before.

It was refreshing to see a huge crowd in central London just enjoying themselves and not feeling the need to desicrate war memorials, fight the police and vandalise buildings. If the behaviour of monarchists as opposed to anti monarchists is anything to go on, I'll keep the royal family every time.:thumbup
