Constant scrolling and online comparison leave many people emotionally drained. Are we becoming numb to real emotions, and can digital detox genuinely restore mental clarity?

Yes, constant scrolling can dull real emotions because we’re overstimulated and constantly comparing ourselves. It creates a false sense of connection while draining focus and self-worth. A digital detox can help restore balance by reducing mental noise, improving sleep, and allowing space for genuine reflection and emotional awareness.

I think we are being numb to real emotion. Recently, our former prime minister was beaten by a mob and a lot of people started saying on social media that he deserved it. How can you justify violence?
