Between 9:30 pm and 6 am. I cringe and hold my breath. Never a good thing when the phone rings between those times. Today's was a wrong number. Anyone else react similarly?

yes, I did...and I understand that feeling....now it is usually a telemarketer....but still with the mother-in-law is out of the hospital and now in rehab, who knows who can be calling...

Your phone rings at those hours? Mine doesn't...


It gets put on SILENT.... only sound it will play is when the alarm goes off.... it will ding with emails all night if I don't... and my parents love to call for no real reason at odd times.. (early morning on weekends...)

No, because it's usually Joe's ex-wife. She will call for no good reason and talk for an hour. I've only met one other woman who can talk as long. That woman loves the sound of her voice.......

There are a few times. When I get a call from my Dad's retirement home, my son's school or daycare .. Those can be really scary one..

A few weeks ago my Dad ended up in the hospital and I got "That call"..

For my son it's always been the nut allergy scare and one of our daycare's was bad at calling me and saying " I think he ate nuts, you want me to give him his EPI PEN". He is no longer there so we don't have that problem anymore..

I can always tell when telemarketers call because its on my listed number that has distinctive ring :24: No one else has that number..

I'm the odd man out - but only because of a technicality. I'm 6 hours ahead of the East Coast (US) - and I'm a night owl to boot. Usually most of my friends will call me when it's midnight my time (which would be when my bestie is leaving work). So our phone rings all hours of the night here.
