It being Christmas time I always run into the same thing every year.
Friend: . "What did you get for chrsitmas?"
Me: "I got this really cool 50 piece tool set, how about you?"
Friend: "Oh not much, just a barbque with the fold out bed, satelite TV and mini bar attachments, came with a jet ski too, just not the jet ski I wanted"
Me. "I hate you"
That and I generally dislike the type of person that no matter what you say they have to say something to just top it no matter the conversation, unknowingly killing their credibility or labeling themselves a liar despite never really having any evidence of what they say being lie, but also never having any evidence to prove them wrong either.
So in honor of this, I present the "One upper thread"
Top whatever the poster says above you, when a subject gets beat to death or gets too blown out of proportion just post NEW TOPIC at the beginning of your post to start a new line of "one upping" as in some subjects will just be more fun then others and will take more time (start small to give it room to grow)
I'll begin
Going to visit my parents for the holidays, they are going to take me out to my favorite brewpub tomorrow night
