I'm new here, so I don't know if there's a thread about it already, but I thought I would start one for one of the best shows on tv; "The Office."
It definitely deserved the "Best Comedy" emmy it won in 2006. Steve Carell deserved the best lead actor in a comedy series, and was robbed when he didn't win it.
So let's let the Office discussion begin!

Personelly, my favorite episode was "A Benihanna Christmas." I thought it utilized everybody's comedic talents to the best of their ability. And come on, drunken karoke! What could be better than that? lol.

And also, what do people think of Jan wanting to start something with Michael? I kind of suspected she liked him, but I never thought she'd be so forward about it.

I just started season 2 of this show on DVD its really funny

my favorite eps so far has to be from season one "discrimination"

that one was hilarious

season 2's "sexual harrasment" eps was good as well

I still think it's nowhere near as good as the origional British version. Ricky Gervais is a comedy genius. He also does a program called Extras which is really worth checking out, it's class!

I don't think it's fair to say one version is better than the other. The American version obviously had to change things up to Americanize it and make it appeal to our tastes. As far as I'm concerned, they're two different things, both equally great.

And I LOVE Extras btw !
