I hold no responsibility for what is written beyond this point; all that is said is copy written to my dad, Bruce Hector. If you are offended, go bother him he lives in Kingston.... I think its funny though.

The Legend of Cod

Of all that is in the world, all that is around us now, in the beginning… there was Cod. Some know the story of Cod, it was told to me by my father, and no one before him. It was he, Bruce Hector, who discovered the truth of all the ism’s, also known as “the Religions”. It was he who told me the real story, of how it was all “a big misunderstanding. If there is any confusion, let it all be cleared, and now, the story of Cod.
It was a clear day that day, a quiet drive from Kingston, Ontario to the capital, Toronto with my father and I. We sat comfortably on Highway 401, talking about anything that crossed our minds. Time went on, and we grew closer to our destination, it was then we stumbled upon the great topic that is religion. It was then my father got a sly look in his bitty blue eyes and explained to me, “It’s Cod!”. I was confused at first naturally, like you are now, I turned to my father who I often call “El loco gordo” in jest for fun, but now I asked “What?” He went on to explain to me about the confusion of the so called ‘God’ and the all mighty and powerful Cod (Yes the fish).
“Long ago, there was nothing but darkness… for days nothing but blackness, and then one day after there was light and the day after that, life. The life created we all know, dolphins that mate with anything that moves in the water to men that lick at ankles of women and occasionally men on men, women on women... enough of that. It was the humans who discovered their creator, the all mighty one who made all this splendor; they celebrated in a feast. One exclaimed, “This Cod is good!”; another cried out, “This Cod, he is powerful!”; the third man, whom was hard of hearing… it was he who fucked everything up to the date that is today.
That fool heard wrong and said, “Hail God! Our holy Father Almighty!”
Now you know the truth... believe it if you will, and tell others. Be happy in this land of Cod.
