I am streaming the most recent presidential debate. Ron Paul was asked for the name of one book that everyone should read. This is it. I haven't read it, but it's only 75 pages or so.

Most of us have no clue of the writings that most influenced the founders. We have been poorly educated and we have failed to educate ourselves. Bastiat, Hobbes, Rousseau, Cicero, Plato, Tacitus, Voltaire to name a few. It is tedious reading. I've not risen to the task in spite of my efforts. It is no wonder the state of our nation has deteriorated to the level that it has.
