You remember those liberal "secular" judges? Here are words of interest. The most recent is "Community Organizer". States Rights was included to illuminate some historical perspective. I'm not implying that is where the Republican Party is today. It is just a very good example of how code words have historically worked.

Got any more?? I'll be happy to add them. :)

Here is the List:
*Secular = Godless as in Liberal Secular Judges. Traditionally "secular" is a word the U.S. has been proud to use to delineate it's separation of church and state until the Republican Party tried to turn it into a dirty word.
*Community Organizer= Activist Liberal or Uppity Negro both who's intent is to cause trouble in society. See Huffington Post/David Gurgen Link.
*Ownership Society = Your choice 1) You're on your own, 2) The rich own everything.
*States Rights = 1) Up to and including the Civil War = Slavery 2) After the Civil War until the 1960's= racist laws and segregation.
*Exotic Guy = Pat Buchanan's description of Obama, a black man?
*Elitist = Someone who thinks they are better than everyone else. (Actually it means someone who pocesses qualities- a select group of people with outstanding personal abilities, intellect, wealth, specialized training or experience, or other distinctive attributes.)

1) You're on your own,

Why does it frighten you so much to have to be on your own? Your mommy and daddy can't take care of you forever (and government can't replace your mommy and daddy)--some day people have to learn to stand on their own two feet---I realize that flies in the face of liberal philosophy, but its the value upon which the country was founded.

There is a concept that is foreign to you--people build wealth and prosperity--not governments. People who build wealth and prosperity are not your enemy--larger government is your enemy--you just don't have enough grounding in economic theory to understand why and since government gives you the illusion of security (a mommy and daddy figure), you feel safer with government running your life and making all your decisions for you.

Have you ever actually taken a risk in your life (serious question)?

The Wise Mulder has spoken. I'm not frightened for me. I'm covered... How about our average forum reader?

Again--why do you believe the government is better equipped to take care of people then people are themselves? Especially the Federal Government.

Another question for you--do you know why the 10th Amendment was added to the Constitution?

Say that again when you arn't a citizen of the most powerful nation on earth.;)
The power is more illusion than real. America's dependancy on foriegn oil, sensitivity to world economics and overly agressive foriegn policies alienating allies does not make for "the most powerful nation on earth" propaganda.

No--we are by far and away the most powerful nation on earth economically speaking--that's a fact. Every industrialized nation is dependant on foriegn oil and whether or not we alienate allies (we don't for the most part, but that's won't change the propoganda) doesn't change economic fact. Its a matter of Gross Domestic Product--Hell, California itself would be in the top 7 (or maybe 5 now, don't remember) if it were a nation and that's just one state out of 50.

You're bias is showing my cynical friend.

Health Care for example, average families can't afford the medical. A very good reason to have support by means of insurance provided by your employer or your government, or some organization as you can't afford it. I don't expect the government to open government medical facilities, the civilian ones that all ready exist will do just fine.

For some reason you think if you say jump, I'll oblige. :) If you have a point how about simply making it?

No, your blind fanatical patriotism is showing, my delusional friend. You remind me of the miser sitting in the parlor counting his gold while wondering why noboby likes him. You think gold is the be all and end all of human potential and happiness? I think it's pathetic that American tourists wear Canadian flags on their backpacks so the locals don't spit on them.

Do you truly think that America can do no wrong and the rest of the world can do no right?

That's total bullshit. What are you calling "average?" Most "average" families already have coverage.

A very good reason to have support by means of insurance provided by your employer or your government, or some organization as you can't afford it. I don't expect the government to open government medical facilities, the civilian ones that all ready exist will do just fine.

You want to solve the problem--give business a tax credit (not a deduction) for paying the premiums for employee health benefits. You do that and every single business will provide it.

And do you know who would vote for that in a heartbeat? Republicans would. Do you know why it will never be passed--because your hypocrital Democratic party would never go for it because it would mean less taxes and less government. They'd cry about "tax breaks for the rich". Democrats don't want average families to have healthcare, they want government run healthcare because that strengthens their party. For every program they can give the American people, they make us more and more dependent on government to take care of our needs. It shifts dollars we now are able to use and choose how to best spend for our families into government hands. For the life of me I don't why in the fuck anyone would ever agree to that kind of bullshit unless someone believed that a communist system of government is actually better than a capitalist system.

(Folks, like a broken record he likes accusing me of being a communist. I'm just tired issuing repeated denials so I'll ignore that comment.) :)

Well again your cynisim is showing--we aren't talking about popularity--leave your emotion out of your opinion. That America is the most powerful nation on earth is an economic fact. It has nothing to do with my patriotism. I could be a Liberal and hate the country and I'd still have no choice but to concede a fact. I doubt very many fish like the Great White shark, but that doesn't change the fact its the most feared killing machine in the ocean. Facts are facts--opinions without facts are called bullshit.

My question is do you think economic power is everything? Is being the most feared killing machine in the ocean of the ultimate importance? It just sounds like a bunch of college jock chest thumping to me. I'm sure projecting yourself onto the psyche of America and imagining yourself to be the alpha male gives you a hard-on is rewarding to you but it all sounds rather jeuvenile to me. I mean, what's the real point?

Hate to disappoint you living in the second rate country that you do but if you added the economic output of the 2nd, 3rd and 4th highest producing countries in the world they still wouldn't equal the US. That is economic fact, live with it.
