Anyone else been watching it? What do you think, especially the Americans on here? I understand that it's been quite controversial over there. Personally I found the first episode a bit disapointing and it really dragged at times plus the acting wasn't up to much.

Well I'm not a huge expert on the Kennedy's but the majority of the family seemed mysteriously absent and you would be forgiven for thinking Joe, John and Bobby were the only kids. Apparently a lot of Americans dont like the negative portrayals of them at times and feel that's inacurate but I wouldn't know too much about that.

Yea, that's what I was getting out. Most Americans don't have a completely accurate of the Kennedy family because their flaws are glossed over

The family made threats to the network or their sponsors I believe so the network dropped it or sold it off to another network

I don't think it is showing here

I am so sick of hearing about Camelot and that fricking family. They made their money the dirty way and bought an election. I hate the thought of two of them being assassinated but then we have the brother who got away with murder due to the family name and what came with it.

What goes around comes around as they say. Nothing there IMO to warrant such adulation.

I'm with you on that but unfortunately that kind of garbage is supposed to make for good TV. I never watch that sort of stuff but I did watch a documentary today on Bobby Kennedy and his assassination which I thoroughly enjoyed.

I am always interested in the shows about the assassinations.

I just can not stand the glorifying of the Kennedy family in general.

The thing that gets me is how they are supposed to be such caring people. Old man Joe was out for Joe and nobody else and would run thru anybody that got in his way. The kids except for Joe Jr. all were people of privilege that used the system and yet they had the nerve to lecture about helping others. What a friggin joke.

It that case you'd probably enjoy this show. Old man Joe is shown as a adulterous control freak.
