I like this idea. The misinterpretation of Jesus (I won't name any specific organizations or persons) is terrible, and I think a website which promotes objective understanding of him is a great idea.

... this really is an extension of the "Jesus Seminar" which for all intent and purposes is cynical and inconsistent. Intellectualism without faith... what do you have? It is certainly convenient to quote the New Testament gospels as historical sources when it serves the purpose and then discredit them when it does not. Nonetheless, it is what it is - an agenda driven mechanism boasting clarity and certainty on things unclear and uncertain which serves only to distract people from the real message - Love God, Love each other.

In reference to the OP...I actually think it's a little irresponsible to post links for a site you haven't checked out. You are essentially passing this information on to people and you don't even know yet if you agree w/ it or not. Now that's just MY opinion and I may be completely wrong...but that's why it's called an opinion.
