Further proving just how flawed the BCS system is, and how bad the Big Least is...

Big East Standings
Pittsburgh 5-3
Syracuse 6-3
South Florida 5-3
Louisville 5-4
West Virginia 5-3
Connecticut 4-4
Rutgers 4-4
Cincinnati 3-5

Yes folks, coming into week 11 of the CFB schedule, the Big Least doesn't have a single bowl-eligible team. Syracuse doesn't count, because two of their wins are against FCS teams. I'm sure that they'll end up with at least Pitt, Syracuse, and USF becoming bowl eligible before the season is over with. But it's pretty sad when one of the vaunted BCS AQ conferences doesn't have a single bowl-eligible team at this point in the season.

Bowl-eligible teams by conference
SEC - 7 (including all but one team in the SEC West)
Big 12 - 7
Big Ten - 7
ACC - 6
WAC - 4
MWC - 4
C-USA - 4
MAC - 4
Pac-10 - 3

The only conference other than the Big East without a single bowl-eligible team... the worst conference in the country, the Sun Belt. Just freaking pathetic. You can't even claim that the Big Least is a tougher conference than the MWC or the WAC at this point either. Boise, TCU, Utah, SDSU, Fresno, and Nevada could all probably win that conference.

I noticed the lack of bowl eligible in the big least this morning. Pretty amazing.

you can't even claim that they've played premiere OOC opponents either

Pittsburgh - Utah, New Hampshire (FCS), Miami, FIU, Notre Dame

Syracuse - Akron, Washington, Maine (FCS), Colgate (FCS), Boston College*

South Florida - Stony Brook (FCS), Florida, Western Kentucky, FAU, Miami*

Louisville** - Kentucky, Eastern Kentucky, Oregon State, Arkansas State, Memphis

West Virginia - Central Carolina (FCS), Marshall, Maryland, LSU, UNLV

Connecticut - Michigan, Texas Southern (FCS), Temple, Buffalo, Vanderbilt

Rutgers - Norfolk State (FCS), FIU, North Carolina, Tulane, Army

Cincinnati - Fresno State, Indiana State (FCS), North Carolina State, Oklahoma, Miami (OH)

"Quality Opponents" bolded
* No FCS Opponents
** Game hasn't been played yet

Cincy, Pitt, and USF probably have the toughest OOC schedules, and Pitt lost to freaking Notre Dame.
