I went into this movie with ALL FOUR KIDS tonight. The girls didn't scream...but all the teenage girls sure as heck did! I was expecting the movie to be somewhat of a cheesy flick, but it actually turned out pretty good.

The gore is orchestrated beautifully...and the make-up for the hillbilly scary folks is hilarious. There's fire, an explosion, and some body parts here and there...it's worth it if you enjoy bloody horror.

You can find better things to put as an avatar once you actually see the movie. *smiles* You'll see what I mean...

My oldest son is almost 13, and he saw his friends there, and when I asked if he wanted to see things with them, he said there was no way he was missing a rated R movie.

So I saw The Hills Have Eyes over Spring Break a few days ago. Awesome movie. Though I didn't quite care for the scenes with the scare tactic of look-behind-nothing-there-look-forward-right-in-your-face method. And I thought it would be a jumpy kind of movie, but I only jumped when the scientists died, and when the spikes popped the tires. Pluto busting through the wall made me jump a little, but I new it would happen, I've seen The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. You're not safe in a room alone. And I bet The Hills Have Eyes Part 2 will be remade, seeing as the original was remade. And a prequel to The Texas Chainsaw Massacre is coming out in October of this year.
