No, not a Fonzie thread.

With my 2,300th post I am posting about being happy! :D and I encourage you all to post about what you're happy about today. Whenever today is for you.

I'm happy because I've almost finished my first week at my new job and it's actually going well. I went to a massive traders exhibition at the NEC with my boss on Wednesday where we had a stand, and I got a crash course in how to bluff when someone asks you questions about a company you know very little about :p and I did so well that he asked me to come back today! The company paid for my train tickets, and the managing director was there today and said to put anything I'd had to buy like lunch on expenses as well.

Plus, me and my boss, who is 10 years older than me and a nice guy but difficult to read, have started to click more :) we got a lot of time standing around together and I think we did more bonding in that time than we would have done in the office.

Now I'm at home, I'm full of lasagna, and soon it will be the weekend when we're having a barbeque :D

What are you happy about today? :)
 
Am so happy to hear that you're doing well at your new job! :thumbup

I am happy that I am on my 7th day Spring break /off with my son. Lots of bonding time with him and it's awesome! :D

The situation with my dear friend whom we've been having on and off issues and @ the verge of losing the friendship- We're doing well too! We're back to where we used to be as good friends ;)

Yay for 2300 posts!

I am happy that the lightbulbs are lighting up in my students heads just in time for standardized testing. I am also happy it is almost the weekend. Coming up with fun, quick, and easy ways to teach them to turn on those light switches is exhausting!
 
I saw my old bosses yesterday. The Princess drives a bright yellow car with personalised plates, so VERY hard to miss.

I drive a non descript black car:ninja

i saw them behind me on the highway, so let them catch up until they were right behind me...then did the old..."tap along to the music on the roof of your car, whilst giving the finger at the same time"

Then the...."aquaplaning arm out the window, with middle finger protruding"

Then "the swerve"

Childish? Absolutely...

Did I feel better/happier? Fuckin A:thumbup:D
