Though this speech is from a 1940 comedy starring Charlie Chaplin that satirizes Hitler and Nazism, this made me cry....not just the poignance of the speech and the images but the realization that these words are just as applicable today. There is something very wrong.....that with the passage of these 70 decades the human condition is essentially unchanged. I hope every one of you will view and share this video.

I <3 the Great Dictator, that movie is pretty damn funny! :D

I've never seen it but I will hunt it down and watch it. I read the synopsis on wikipedia and since I love political satire, I will probably enjoy the film. That said, folks who watch the video won't be moved to laughter. It is a very thought provoking presentation, IMHO.

Agreed in regard to the video, but the overall film is a lot of fun.
