I use a bar of soap and sometimes the puff thing with the bar...I don't use shower gel...I tried it a few times, and I never feel like I get it all off LOL, and I hate that damn feeling.

We use two varieties of puffs. One is real coarse and the other is soft. We almost always shower together as we have a big oversize one with dual shower controls. She has her own showerhead and I have mine.
So you start with the soft and end hard ?
Puff? It's totally called a loofah, man...
And I hate using bar soap, it never gets a good enough lather. Totes a loofah + shower gel. I rotate shower gels all the time, but this is what I'm currently using:
