And because I was bored to tears today I decided to fool around with some filters and I ended up with this golden goose against a gray sky.



Kind if a nice turtle scene



And a fairly decent shot of a Red-winged Blackbird. It's sharp as a tack before I downsized it.

That red-winged blackbird is more than just fairly decent. I think it's awesome. :clap I've tried taking pictures of black/dark birds and I know how hard it is.

So far it's the best one I have. It's easy getting the black part of a bird but what's hard for me at least is getting the eye. This time I think I got it. :thumbup Now I have to work on an in-flight one. That's what I was trying for today but them buggers are quite fast.
