The original Swedish version of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo is a great film, and the remake was ok too. The follow up movies were kind of lame in comparison but just finished the story.

I agree. Even though the American remake was a better movie from a technical point of view, the story on the original Swedish version was much better. Didn't like the "deus ex machina" solution to everything in the Fincher version.
