...and I'm guessing other football shirts and flags as well, it's a common dress code which has been around several establishments for years along with no trainers and no jeans ect.I'm pretty sure you'll also find it's just the pubs policy and not because of a law which has been brought in by the police too.
Quite why some idiots think it's only England shirts and it was done because it offends immigrants is anyone's guess. As far as I can tell it's just because racists have to lie to try and justify their idiotic views.

I'm guessing there were also people in England shirts in the same pub during Euro 96 too. I've never, ever heard of a pub which bans England shirts but lets you in if you wear another countries football shirt.
