South Coast and maritime museum

I'll start with this one....the boys favourite.

Stanwell Park, south coast of Sydney is a favourite spot for hang gliders and car lovers.

You can get a group and hire 5 Ferraris to drive on the Famous Ocean Road, where they film a lot of car commercials etc.

One was parked in the car park...and my NOT shy boy asked could he have a photo..(I didnt ask)

or Wollongong. Biggest city south of Sydney besides Canberra

He is a HUGE car nerd now. All the way down it was spot the sports car "Porsche, Audi, Saab..." and so on.

The Ferrari was the highlight of his holiday.:thumbup

Nice shots- I just googled that ocean road. Seems way long - is it all pretty much coastal like those pics and as I guess the name implies?

Theres a few "great ocean roads"...This one is actually called Sir Lawrence Hargraeves drive, but the locals call it the Great Ocean rd.

The REAL Great ocean rd is in Victoria and, you're right, it is long

This is the one I went on. The road used to be right up against the cliff, and there were lots of "Beware of falling rocks" signs. Its packed on weekends when people park, and walk it.

Yes I will enjoy them. I was able to take a tour on a British warship that visited Canada when I was but a wee boy and the memories stayed with me forever. Great times for a boy child. Girls... not so much.. my sisters hated it.
