Totally took what I had said out of context...

...though I see some shall still "see" what they want to see in a sense.

That wasn't directed at you. It was directed at the light tone of the interview between these men.

My apologies, JoeCool10. That was not expressed clearly in your post though. Still, I did jump the gun so to speak. It must be getting late for me as well.

i'm sorry i didn't catch this sooner. i hope you'll see this and pick it up. it's true that mk-ultra messed up a lot of lives and if you listen carefully you'll hear the hurt in jerry and ken through the light heartedness of this interview.

you're very young and might not even know who those men are. the interviewer is tom snyder who worked late night with lots of different kinds of celebrities. i consider him among the best with william murrough, david frost and larry king.

ken kesey was a very important author of the period. he wrote sometimes a great notion and one flew over the cuckoo's nest.

jerry garcia is considered by many to have been the greatest guitar player of our era. he certainly was one of the hardest working and most versatile musicians that ever lived. he played with players from all genres as well as lead the grateful dead. in his career he played more engagements and played for more people than anybody else ever tracked that way.

I did not catch that I guess.

And yes, you're right. I am still very young and have a lot left to learn. Especially about the experiments and all through MK-ULTRA and their usage of LSD (though I have done a fair amount of reading on the subject). I do know who Ken Kesey and Jerry Garcia are. The rest I don't, but if they're in the same league as Larry King, I bet they're good guys :thumbup

I remember seeing one picture of an LSD experiment (not sure if it was related to MK-ULTRA or not) that DEEPLY disturbed me... I'll see if I can find it.

It was related to MK-ULTRA. Looking at it now makes me wonder if it was a doctored picture. In any case I'm sure it's happened regardless of existent proof.

If you can't read it:
(fig2a) Un-identified white female between the age of 8 and 10 years old. Subject underwent 6 months of treatment using heavy doses of LSD, electroshock and sensory deprivation. Experiments under codename: MKULTRA about early 60s. Subjects memory was erased and her brain is that of a newborn baby.

oh boys and girls, moms and dad's, this is just the tip of the iceberg. i've been in the crowd when helicopters flew low and released some strange ketone into the air. most of you will be familiar with the effects if you know anybody who huffs airplane glue.

this is one of the most volatile conspiracy theory topics we're venturing into. go try to find a book called the plutonium papers. it documents the medical experiments associated with the manhattan project. that's the secret ww-ii a-bomb project. that little girl ain't shit compared to that -- most of the patients died and a lot took a long time to do it.

then there's some operation whose codename escapes me run by wild bill donovan and bill casey that brought von braun and the rocket scientists over here. they probably stashed mengele and his cronies somewhere, too. rumors say argentina or brazil. lots of nazis contributed to the industrial revolution there that has decimated the rain forests and the primitive people's of the entire continent.

there are two very good books recently published about LSD, the CIA, what really went down and what's going down today. there's a film of an indie journalist who filmed his own assassination in oaxaca a couple of years ago. i'll see if i can find more of that stuff and bring it to you.
