Good movie! You never get to see the driver and the truck looks scary.

It reminded me of the opening part of Jeepers Creepers which I thought was the best bit of that film and you're right, it's not seeing the driver and how scary looking the truck is that really does it!:willy_nilly:

Yes I believe it was his first feature to direct.

I know he directed it and seeing it's a tv film from 1971, I wouldn't be at all surprised if it was.

Look at how evil that truck looks!

He uses the same sound effect after the shark gets blown up in Jaws and is sinking into the ocean as when the truck goes over the cliff!!!

Quality! They got everything just right in knowing how to scare without using gore or expensive special effects. The stuff when you hear what's going through his mind throughout really adds to the suspense too! Wish more modern film makers could watch this and realise a big budget dosen't necessarily make a great film! :clap
