I think he's lost it, based on his personal problems, the ability to make successful movies that is. Usually after I hear enough bad press about an actor/tress, I have no interest in seeing them in a movie, cause the whole time, I'm thinking ASSHOLE!

The last Mel Gibson film that I liked was Conspiracy Theory (1997). Although, to be fair, I've only seen one or two of his movies since then.

I liked many of his earlier movies, specifically Mad Max, Lethal Weapon, Forever Young (what can I say), Braveheart, Ransom and Conspiracy Theory. Six movies is enough for me to appreciate him as an actor. Now as a person, that's another story.

All the lethal weapons and Mad Max 1 and 2 are great fun.
Braveheart and Gallipoli are excellent.
And his magnum opus is Apocolypto. What a brilliant film that is!

I think he's a good actor., but as I said, then their negative personal lives come front and center it's hard for me to forget about that while I'm watching them act. A good reason why actors/actresses need to keep their personal lives out of the public eye.

All of Bruce Willis films are too much like Die Hard. They suck!
