Just figured if anyone here has seen this, they might be able to tell me if it's right. The parts where the kid Evan blacks out, are only blacked out in the beginnning of the movie because Evan changes them as an adult, right?

I love that movie but its so hard to try to explain it

After about the 8th time watching it(On a lot lately), I think I understand it. And I think I found something else out, something weird about it. The only reason the scenes with Evan's dad killing him, Evan holding the knife, and Evan drawing the picture even happened where because of what he did as an adult(Telling his dad he needs answers and he can make a perfect like, trying to get a knife to destroy the blockbuster, and killing the prison men). Ow, my head hurts.
