A blonde woman ran over a mattress on the highway, and decided not to worry -- and kept on driving...

It caught on the undercarriage of her Ford...

The ensuing jumble finally whipped around enough to tear a hole in the fuel tank...

The Subsequent Lack Of Fuel Is What Finally Brought Her Vehicle To Its Knees...

She Had Still Managed To Drive 30 More Miles With A 60-Pound Tangle of Stuff Wrapped Around Her Drive Shaft...

She Had it Towed To Her Ford Dealership And Complained That The Vehicle Had A "Sort Of Shimmy" When She Was Driving At High Speeds...

Below Are The Photos Of What They Found At Her Ford Dealership...

The Last Photo Is By Far The Best...

"Sort Of A Shimmy" -- I'll Bet It Did!...

Is This Just The Best Blonde Story Or What?...

The Ford Mechanics Still Can't Believe Their Eyes...

And Still Wondering How In The HECK are we going to Remove It........

Wire cutters. I had a metal fish basket do a similar thing to my GMC pick-up. Seems the stringer attached to the basket fell between the cab and the bed. This caught the driveshaft. Made a most God awful noise. I stopped crawled under the truck and cut it all loose.

Give her the quote for repair and collect the full amount first, then do the work, other than that, wouldn't touch it with a 10' pole.

On a sidenote, if you do some research, you will find this thread popping up from time to time beginning around 2006. Of course it probably can't be verified, but it was reported as first a man doing the driving, then migrated to a blonde LOL

Well whoever was driving had a good chance of being blonde or having a blonde mom ;)
