The Batman Movies

I know Begins was a reboot of the franchise, and I'm looking forward to the new one. My only question is about Alfred... When I first saw Begins I thought to myself that Michael Caine doesn't really seem like the typical Alfred portrayed in the cartoons and older television series and movies.

the whole point of the new batman movie series is to FORGET what has been done before, this is a straight back to the comic book roots approach, that's why some things might seem like they don't line up well with the previous material released.
