It all started when I thought I had complete screwed up with field trip money for my class. I forgot to add in $60 but the total I came up with wasn't the same as the total from the lady in the front office. Flipping through the checks, I discovered that one was missing. I also show that her mother was planning on coming on the trip but I didn't count her as one of the ten on the bus. Which means we would have to tell another parent that we (more I) screwed up. So my directing teacher called the mother to tell her about the missing check (my directing teacher *thinks* she threw it away but isn't sure) and found out that the mother didn't want to ride the bus and was planning on calling and tell us this later that afternoon. That means we don't have to kick anyone off the bus and she didn't mind canceling the check and writing a new one. The mother ended up saving us a lot of time and grief.

On the ever better, the principle of the school I'm at came by just to say hi and see how I was doing. We got to talk about things that make good teachers and things like that. As he was leaving, he said to stop by his office later to talk about the projections for job openings next year. I LOVE the school I'm at and it's considered one of the best in the state. The principle also hardly ever hires new teachers. So I may have a job waiting for me after I graduate.

And the bestest thing to happen today was a call this morning from my husband. He mention that he's leaving Iraq soon. Needless to say, that's been on my mind all day long.

That school is truly my dream job. They try to use the arts as much as possible in the everyday classroom. I went to an arts school and it's one of the best experience I've ever had.

And there are no words to describe how happy I am that my husband is leaving. He should have been coming home last month but they kept for whatever strange reasons they may have.

Thanks for sharing your joy. Can't say you didn't bring a smile to my face. Congratulations. Keep up the good work.

Don't be afraid to be cheezy when you meet your boy at the air force base. (or wherever he comes in at) Tears, baloons, hugs, etc... Good times in your near future. :) I'm very happy for you.
