Thatcher agent wants BBC apology


Carol Thatcher's agent has demanded the BBC apologise after the former Prime Minister's daughter was axed from working as a reporter on The One Show.
The decision was made after Thatcher referred to a tennis player as a "golliwog" backstage during filming.
Ali Gunn told radio station TalkSport that it was "absolutely outrageous" that her client's conversation had been leaked to the public.
"They should be issuing us with an apology," she said.

What a bitch! The gall of this woman is unbelievable! She described a black person as a golliwog, albeit not on air. If she didn't want the public to know then obviously she knows she's done something to be ashamed of. Guess being a comple cunt really does run in the family.:thumbdown

Regardless of the fact that it was off air, it doesn't make it ok. And it's good that it has been leaked, exposes her for the racist she obviously is. Ron Atkinson got sacked for a similar thing in 2004 remember. Instead of demanding an apology she should be making a statement saying how sorry she is for saying it (on air, off air, completely irrelevant). Also, i assume the Tennis player is question is one of the Williams Sisters.
