No, Scotland isn't a barbaric country that believes in an eye for an eye, they haven't used burning people alive as punishment for a few hundred years now.

Yeah, well we want to move forwards, not backwards, USA, I believe is the only 1st world country that uses murder as a form of punishment.
Yeah, he should of got life for that, or the death penalty....in the same exact manner
I so wish the death penalty would be given to that person, he deserves it, perhaps if we did the same to him......
well..he deserves it.
I think death is an easy way out. He doens't have to live with what he's done or suffer in anyway.
