Yes I'm aware that this is a cartoon but there is a new Avatar cartoon coming to Nick Saturday. The first one was very solid and the story was well thought out. I'm looking forwards to it. Yes I'm a dork.

I absolutely loved the first series. I could write a paper about how much I loved it, but I will not. The first two episodes of korra were leaked a couple weeks back. I have watched them and thought they had a lot of potential. I am not sure about this forums rules on torrent links, but if it is within the rules and if you want it, then I can link you to a torrent of the first two episodes in 720 p quality.

For those who have seen the first two episodes, or don't mind being spoiler'd, here are my opinions on them: (copied from a post of mine on another site, so may be in weird format)

it was freaking awesome. I didn't like the first episode at first though just because it was really fast paced, which isn't what the first series was like at all. but it slowed down in the second episode which I liked. And the end of the first episode made me go "yay, there's a plot".

I have a feeling the basic story line will be that the benders have gotten all high and mighty, thinking they are better then everyone (second episode). And that the governement is going to be not so perfect. And then this dude you see at the end of the second episode is going to lead some sort of revolt, except it's probably going to be way over-board, similar to Jet in the first series but probably to a much bigger extent. And then Korra is going to have to be against this guy, but she will probably also be against the governement to some extent and try to reach so happy middle ground.

The animation was AMAZING, the sound effects were AMAZING (and kind of brutal), and the music was AMAZING. I was pretty skeptical when I first heard about "legend of korra" but I think this will be pretty good. Can't really tell from these two episodes though.
