Two cases hitting close to home.

I recently moved my IRA investments to a guy I bowl with on Tuesday. Real nice guy about 39 years old. He had a heart attack last Wednesday. He will survive but has to make a lot of life changes.

A man I go to church with who I considered to be a friend although we were not real close. He was very well loved by the entire church. He had a beautiful voice. He dropped dead of a massive heart attack yesterday afternoon. He was about 44. He leaves behind his wife and two teenage daughters. He was a building contractor and the last few years had basically closed his business and he and his wife were working very hard at other jobs. I can only assume the stress got him.

I need to heed my own advice and take better care of myself too.

Sobering thoughts. This reminds me to get back into the gym - I'd closed my membership in a move back south and haven't been for over a month. You can certainly feel the difference in body well being after not having been.

Lifestyle changes and diet changes are very important to cardiac health. Had more than a few attacks myself. Exercise helps also.
